Intro

prepare.zone is a different way of managing your work and there are some fundamental things you need to know before you dive in. Here’s what you need to know to get started with our powerful and flexible design and management system:

Passwordless-Login

Passwordless connections allow users to login without the need to remember a password. This improves the user experience, especially on mobile applications, since users will only need an email address to register for our application. Without passwords, your application will not need to implement a password-reset procedure and users avoid the insecure practice of using the same password for many purposes.

Gravatar

One cool feature we have in our site is a Gravatar, which will display an image of the user’s choosing upon login. Read more...

Place to start every day

Your work is centralized in your Workspace. It’s your one place for all projects, equipment and layouts. When your organization’s priorities are all aligned in a single place, you can be confident that you’re doing the right work at the right time. When you first sign in to prepare.zone, you’ll land on the PROJECTS. You’ll see what’s been going on across the entire workspace, or you can select the feature you care about.

STL

Our application uses STL format files to import/export 3D Models. STL (STereoLithography) is a file format native to the stereolithography CAD software created by 3D Systems. STL has several after-the-fact backronyms such as "Standard Triangle Language" and "Standard Tessellation Language". This file format is supported by many other software packages; it is widely used for rapid prototyping, 3D printing and computer-aided manufacturing. STL files describe only the surface geometry of a three-dimensional object without any representation of color, texture or other common CAD model attributes. The STL format specifies both ASCII and binary representations. Binary files are more common, since they are more compact. An STL file describes a raw unstructured triangulated surface by the unit normal and vertices (ordered by the right-hand rule) of the triangles using a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system. STL coordinates must be positive numbers, there is no scale information, and the units are arbitrary.

Web Technologies

The web today is a growing universe of interlinked web pages and web apps, teeming with videos, photos, and interactive content. What the average user doesn't see is the interplay of web technologies and browsers that makes all this possible. prepare.zone utilize these web technologies, like HTML5, CSS3, SVG and WebGL.

Please ensure that your web browser supports all new standards.
